Cactus Crew Junk Removal
About Cactus Crew

From Bulk Trash to a Business Built on Second Chances

Cactus Crew was built by Rachel and Casey Hunter, an Arizona husband-and-wife team who turned a practical need into a family business rooted in hard work, sustainability, and seeing value where other people see junk.

A Family's Story

At Cactus Crew Junk Removal, we’re more than just a junk removal company — we’re a family-owned, locally operated business built on hard work, purpose, and heart.

Founded by Rachel and Casey, proud Arizona natives, Cactus Crew was created with a simple mission: help keep our community clean while giving new life to items that still have value. As a veteran-owned, woman-owned business, we take pride in serving our neighbors across the Valley with reliable, honest, and flexible service.

What truly sets us apart is the “why” behind what we do.

The Why Behind It

Tony Helped Shape the Heart of the Business

Cactus Crew is also deeply personal. After the loss of Rachel’s father, Tony, to cancer, Rachel and Casey felt even more compelled to build something meaningful. Tony had what they describe as a real passion for junk — not because he liked clutter, but because he could see potential where other people saw something worthless.

He always had a project going, always saw a second life in old things, and always understood that “junk” is often just something waiting for the right person to recognize its value. We carry that same mindset into everything we do.

The Tony Philosophy
“Every item we sell honors the memory of Rachel’s father, Tony, who taught us to see value where others see junk.”

That idea shows up in both sides of the business: the junk removal service and the thrift store. One helps people clear space. The other helps good items find a second home.

From Junk to Treasure

Why Cactus Crew Has Both Junk Removal and a Thrift Store

Whenever possible, we donate, repurpose, or resell items instead of sending them straight to the landfill. Through our junk removal services and our thrift store, we’re committed to reducing waste and keeping usable items in circulation — just like Tony would have wanted.

The thrift-store side of Cactus Crew is not an add-on. It is part of the mission. Many of the items they recover through cleanouts, estate sales, and removal jobs are not garbage at all — they are usable, valuable, and often deeply lived-in pieces that still deserve another life.

Their thrift-store philosophy is simple: every item has a story, and not everything should go straight to the dump. Furniture, tools, household goods, electronics, clothing, toys, and vintage pieces can all be rescued, cleaned up, and put back into the community.

That is what makes Cactus Crew different. They do not just haul things away. They look for what can be repurposed, resold, donated, or appreciated again.

What That Looks Like
  • Removing bulky items and clutter for customers who need space back
  • Pulling usable items out of the waste stream whenever possible
  • Giving secondhand pieces another life through the thrift store
  • Keeping the business rooted in sustainability, family, and community
Who They Serve

Built for Real Life, Not Ideal Conditions

Rachel and Casey built Cactus Crew around the kinds of calls people make when life is messy, heavy, or just moving fast. Their work can be as simple as one washer and dryer pickup or as involved as a full hoarder cleanout, estate cleanout, or major property reset.

🛋️

Bulky Item Pickups

Furniture, appliances, mattresses, and other items most people cannot or do not want to move themselves.

🏠

Property Cleanouts

Estate cleanouts, inherited homes, rentals, and situations where a property needs to move to the next stage.

🧰

Heavy-Duty Jobs

Hot tubs, shed demolition, construction debris, and hard-to-handle removal jobs that require real labor.

♻️

Second-Chance Items

Items that can be donated, repurposed, or sold instead of being treated like landfill by default.
